Ladder Creek Plant

Responsibility

Tumbleweed Midstream’s Ladder Creek Helium Plant and its employees are significant contributors to the economy and general wellbeing of the towns of Cheyenne Wells and Kit Carson, for Cheyenne County, and for the other communities in the area surrounding the plant. We plan to grow this trend.

In Q1 2020 Tumbleweed increased our headcount by more than 25 percent to 23 employees—up from 18 employees in December 2019 when we acquired the Ladder Creek system from DCP Midstream. These are high tech, high-paying jobs in an area where the predominant industry is agriculture.

Tumbleweed Midstream and the motivated employees at the Ladder Creek plant know that we have a responsibility to the communities where we work and live. Our neighbors can rest assured that the Ladder Creek Helium Plant and Gathering System is in the care of people you know.

It is locally owned and operated.

It is our pledge to operate the plant in a safe, environmentally-friendly manner and to support the local schools and social infrastructure in the communities around the plant. These values are embedded in the way we conduct business.
